TWC resets their rankings at the start of each month, so every single vote in the next few days can dramatically change a comic’s position. And the higher up a comic, the more exposure and visits it will get.
So by voting for Twilight Lady this week especially, you will help introduce a lot of people to this comic who otherwise might never have discovered it. What better incentive can there be?
Nothing against wallpapers, pins, and all those other goodies typically offered to webcomic readers as donation incentives, but purist that I am, I figured… what could beat a brand-new, original comic story?
Thus, for a limited time only, readers donating $2 or more to Twilight Lady will get a digital (PDF) copy of Twilight Lady Sings the Blues, an ALL-NEW 10-page tale in which Jennifer Moon meets a blind bluesman haunted by the ghost of murder ballads past. A tale written by myself, and illustrated by Federico Zumel and James Taylor.
Yes… you read it right. A (gasp) physical, tangible Twilight Lady comic book, printed on… wait for it… paper!
One thing’s for sure… this would never happen in the astral plane.
Twilight Lady Sings the Blues is an ALL-NEW 10-page tale in which Jennifer Moon meets a blind bluesman haunted by the ghost of murder ballads past. Written by yours truly, with gorgeous traditional pencil-and-ink art by Federico Zumel and James Taylor, it is now available for sale from online comic store IndyPlanet.
So get your hands on this ancient artifact of a bygone Senserealm era while you can. Before ink is outlawed for good…
I was recently interviewed by a rather nice fellow named NJ Goodman, one of the folks behind the Xcentrikz webcomic site, where the interview has just been posted.
Among other startling revelations, I disclose the reason behind the setting for this comic, what I was like in high school, and what’s coming up in the very near future for the Lady in the Hood and her colorful supporting cast.
Though it’s not the first interview I’ve ever done, it is the first one I’ve done that’s about Twilight Lady. So go on over and witness history in the making!
Been awhile since I last asked this question, soooo…
Whether you’re a new reader who recently hopped on board, or a longtime reader who’s yet to comment on one of these threads, it would be very helpful (and greatly appreciated) if you let me know 1) how you discovered Twilight Lady and 2) what other comics (print and/or web) you read and enjoy.
In the spirit of my favorite season, here’s a selection of spooky tracks from The Hungry Ghost album, recorded and (mostly) written by some guy who writes some comic called Twilight Lady:
