   okay now I’m really really curious how a tiny mutant rat managed to get a Nemiski body guard, and what amounts to a pair of sensarealm terminators.

   @kyriss. She’s not a bodyguard. More like a bounty hunter. (Occam’s Razor and all that.) The Nemiski are the guys in suits, aka, the “terminators” and they are not from sensarealm. (They said so, several times). They are merely in disguise while visiting. I’m far more interested in why they are after “meekah.” It doesn’t look or act particularly dangerous, and doesn’t have any items, possessions or treasure, unless it IS the treasure (food, spell components, and so forth.)

   Personally, I’m disappointed.

   The Lady got distracted by the little girl at a crucial moment and so Jen got wounded. And now we see the other protagonist fared even worse. (Dead, most likely.)

   I miss the feeling of earlier chapters where The Lady kicked ass left and right and it was sweet! Even Houdini and Rona and her companions managed fairly well most of the time. Speaking of, when is Rona going to (re)learn the Nemiski Way, anyway?

   BTW: I’m surprised Twilight Lady still does not have a cast page. It’s getting hard to keep track of all the characters…
