   Looks like a timeskip here that she didn’t catch? Got tranced and didn’t realize until the girl brought her out of it.

   @Spectrum: Nah, it was a sleeper grip. Pressure points along the neck, when compressed with enough force, can literally knock a person out, especially if they aren’t trained to withstand it. This guy, unfortunately, just mistook Jen as someone who’s trained for it, and now that the Lady’s been put back, she’s kind of stuck dealing with him on her own.
