   He’s no kid in the first place, he’s the demon believing in his own lies. But that does not mean he’s not aware of other things, that’s how he let the nemesis thing slip and then realized he screw up things.

   Called it.. he isnt what he claimed to be.. Now I am not 100% sure it was case of him believeing his own lies.. OR him just playing the game till he got his way.. Now however he has run his mouth to the point he’s screwed himself.. Knowing our beloved lady as we all do. doses any of us think for one second that this wasn’t her plan all along.. give him enough rope and he will hang himslef??

   I’m not sure he understands who and what “Nemesis” actually is. We haven’t seen her as acting for justice, per se — but as giving people what they seem to be seeking.

   I’m half expecting the response “Do you find the current situation intolerable?” … She can do something about that, but it may not be what he thought he was asking for.

   I’m also half expecting that he isn’t a demon, but the abandoned childish portion of himself…

   He could also be the ghost of somebody else, being confused about who he is could have changed his astral form. First victum story could still be true.

   I just caught up to a week or 2 of comic+comments…the comments are almost as important as teh comic

   I am suddenly reminded of the Stephen King novel…forgot the name…where this dude is one of a Siamese Twin, but the one featus was absorbed by the other in the uterus, so nobody knew about the twin until the dude was MUCH older and they eventually found teeth+eye pieces in his brain…these were surgically removed and *suddenly* the twins spirit was unleashed in the world! the Dead Half? aah, I love Wiki:)

    No, he used “Nemesis” in just the right way to show he knows who she really is. “or was” and also show he knows way too much to be what he claimes to be…. Thats why in the last panel he has the “HO shit I just screwed myself” looks on his face…

    XCal: The medical term for an individual made up of the combined cells of what were originally two offspring is a chimera (from the mythical beast which combined parts of several animals). It does sometimes happen in humans, though since ordinary twins are rare this is rarer still.

    There was a nice piece on NPR a week or two ago about a woman whose was told that her child’s genetics didn’t match hers — and it turned out that she was indeed a chimera, with one set of genes in skin and blood but a different set in her ovaries and some other organs. I’d love to know how the religious right would interpret her status, assuming they could wrap their heads around it at all.

    @technogeek that is freaky indeed! People often ask my wife if she is actually the mother of our son…he is exactly like me and nothing like her! She could be a Chimera Thanks for the new meaning of this word.

    @ technogeek: As a member of the “religious right” myself, I’d have to say she is in a similar situation to that of an organ recipient.
    Still, that’s one weird revelation–”You are basically carrying around your deceased-before birth twin sister’s ovaries.” What if some of her brain cells were from her sister, too, or if the mashup was of a brother and sister?
    “There is more in Heaven and Earth than is dreampt of in your philosophy. . .” Wish I remembered that line better.
