A perfect reply would be, “You have us at a loss, dear Lady. We were assured directly that you had declined the invitation.” And Belham does indeed play her cards close to the chest, but I do believe there’s a spark of annoyance in her eyes.
New reader here. Found the link in someones sig on a different forum. Took the whole thing in in one sitting. Kudos, sir Chen. It is very difficult to keep my attention that long. I hope we still get to find out what Rona was planning.
I just finished your archive and out of the hundreds of comics i read a month it is one of the best i have ever read and i belive that i will try to keep up with it
Unfortunately not. If I did, I wouldn’t have missed out on quite a bit of sleep. I finished reading, checked the clock, noted it was 6 AM and promptly fell asleep. Which brings up an interesting question. Rona has gone back in time at least twice. Does she have some kind of time related abilities?
I had been under the impression that time didn’t exist in Subrealm the way we know it in Senserealm. Of course, the ways the creatures in Rwahle act suggests it does…
Then again, those creatures appear to be trapped in their own perceptions almost as much as the living. Maybe Rona does have something on them… maybe this is why the Lady spends so much time with her.

Hee hee hee. To a man, they look both astonished and pissed. Except for Belahm, who could be playing a hand of poker for all her expression says.

The only one who doesn’t look scared or annoyed is Wulfgar. He looks absolutely ecstatic to me, though that could be the shadows
