THAT’s what Belahm wants? I never would have imagined. Why is she so interested in Senserealm that she’d make a deal with astral travelers to get a taste of it?
Is it possible that this is why she does what she does?
Belahm could round up slaves much more quickly if she could simply mosey on over to senserealm instead of waiting for its denizens to come to her.
Or perhaps she truly is just curious. Or perhaps, irony, of ironies, she is pursuing the Lady. If she destroys her anchor, she defeats an opponent that has evaded her twice.
But if Belahm were to kill Jennifer, it would only help the Lady. In fact, the Lady would probably thank her with an infuriating smile.
Also… I seem to recall, it was Belahm who tricked Takami into entering that portal of reincarnation. If she wanted into Senserealm too badly, she could use one of those. So evidently she isn’t desperate… merely interested. But enough to make a deal. What is her angle…
The portal of reincarnation erases ALL your past life and memories until you “escape” Senserealm again. The “HUNTRESS” wants to be able to come and go as she pleases, IN THE FLESH without losing her ascendant status in the process. I bet she could take on a Sherman tank and win! Whatever she wants in Senserealm, it can’t be good, for anyone.
1.) From what we’ve seen, this “Projection” only works one way. From Senserealm to where they are now produces “flesh” avatars, but the reverse is not true.
2.) Projecting from Senserealm into wherever they are right now has left their bodies unprotected. If Belham were to somehow do EXACTLY what these “stiffers” are doing, she’d be one giant target for everyone who has a grudge, and I’m sure there are plenty.
3.) If she “borrows” a body like Elanor’s construct is doing right now with Rona’s, she would have to contend with the new vessel’s relatively weaker physical strength and defenses in the same way that Elanor’s construct is. “Everything seems much ‘heavier’ in this body’” is how “IT” put describes the experience.
4.) Oh I’m sure she and Fang have at least some rough comprehension of one another. You don’t live for centuries, especially as a successful business owner, without SOMEONE spreading the word about you.
5.) Belham does not do things just for “curiousity,” she has a very strong sense of the “Bottom line” and always seeks profit or leverage.
Or maybe Belahm really is just intrigued by human culture – she seems to be going out of her way to disprove the troll stereotype, and if she’s been around so long then she could be falling prey to the old axiom that the act of observing changes the observer. I imagine that it would be the difference between looking at ocean life in a giant tank, and actually swimming with it out in the ocean.
that may be true but what will she do 2 them and wat is probably in the food is a type of knockout drug but its not in belhams of course so she can track back 2 one of their bodies and take it over use them 2 get 2 senserealm & try 2 take over senserealm am i right blake or am i wrong u might want 2 fill us in on that if it happens the way i said it might
I believe Nietzsche (sp) have said “Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you.”

AHA! The antithesis of The Lady. The Lady want’s to get out of Senserealm, while Behlam wants in.

Unless she merely wanted the experience of it, of course.
If she wants to go to senserealm ‘in the flesh’, so to speak, she’s going to need the help of someone like Fang. But does she even know he exists…?

Albert, there are several flaws in your theory.
