I agree. To me it seems that her efforts are striving towards escaping existence and interaction with beings she deems inferior to her rather than being free. A temporary escape perhaps since she seems to want to return to the “living” so to speak once Jennifer dies but an escape nonetheless.
She has forgotten apparently, that even stone is not immutable. She has also forgotten that sensory deprivation WILL destroy the mind, something she values most highly.
That may be so, but I still want one of those elder circles for myself. I can easily understand the Lady’s dislike for the masses. People drive me effing nuts.

I am the only one who thinks that the ladys concern for ultimate freedom makes her unfree in itself?

That’s what I said too. The Lady ceases to make sense to me lately, and as often as not seems snared in tangles within her own mind.
