I wonder why the hobbits call humans “stiffnecks”. Then again, I guess the other inhabitants of Rwahle use a similar word, something like “stiffer”, don’t they.

They have three necks but one head. Impossible anatomically speaking unless their necks are WAY more flexible than ours, hence the “stiff neck” slang.
