I mean, that much was obvious beforehand. But taking advantage of "If I wasn't capable of doing this, I wouldn't feel so guilty about not doing it" to incapacitate someone, even though you were doing it to protect them, and then claiming afterward that you were just doing it because they wanted it... One has to wonder if the Lady isn't engaging in a bit of good old human telling-yourself-something-to-make-you-feel-better.
