is that the hobbit at the base of the cliff? there’s *somebody* there, but who?

I’d be more concerned of the swordsman just above the O in Oblivion.

Neat page!
Also: Suspense (literally and not quite so) is allways appreciated…..

And what about the winged ‘thing’ in the background?
It keeps getting better… Ctz Blake! ;D

Well, I don’t know what happened, but it seems like a few weeks ago the pace of the comic changed. For whatever reason, I find myself disoriented at each new update, and I have to look back one or two updates to try and figure out what’s going on. It’s like either the perspective changed to get closer and see less of the big picture, or the time frame changed so that things are happening in between each update that we don’t see that throw me off. Maybe it’s a combination of the two. I’ll give it another week or so, because I think the strip has promise. I do like suspense, but lately it’s just bordered on confusion for me. And maybe it’s just me.

It seems simple enough, on the surface. Whisper landed on that ledge and changed back, and the Lady caught up with her. Belahm managed to chase her all the way there; I’m guessing she lost Whisper, but she’s barking up the right tree. And I’m not sure what Houdini and the bug guy are doing there, but I’m guessing the Lady went and got them, for whatever reason — she told Rona she was doing something else, and I’m guessing it was tracking down those two. So now they’re all trying to find each other, and everyone except the Lady is probably as confused as any of us are. At least, that’s what I’m seeing.

I don’t think that the Lady is confused. She had a very knowing look about her in the last update
The flying thing? good question! sofar, the people with wings are: the Lady; dragon-whisper; and Eleanor. I’m sure that Eleanor is keeping pace with the action!

What an amazing page! I really want to get this one framed and hang it up.

I think the creature with wings is just a random inhabitant of Rwahle. We haven’t seen all of its species, after all.

This page would make a great poster for the comic.

Albert: I would agree with you if this was another comic/publication. I’ve yet to notice *anything* that is just random in this series:-)

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. A Twilight Lady poster? Hmmm…
Mike, exposition can be a tricky thing for a writer. Too much of it, and it slows down the story. Too little, and it becomes confusing for the reader. Your feedback is helpful, because it does tell me when I’m perhaps not providing enough information. In any case, I hope you’ll stick around.

Did Blake take a vacation?
April 17th, 2009 at 9:23 pm
Nope… still here.
As it says above, new issue starts next week. And if you don’t believe me, I’ve just (hint, hint) updated the vote incentive to show a preview of the cover and title.

I kind of agree with Mike, the last issue of Twilight Lady is very confusing to me. Maybe I should spend some time reading it all over to prepare myself for the next issue.

Oh, I totally missed that part. I’ve been reading this on my phone lately so I don’t always see the whole page like on a computer.
