How did you find this comic?

Haven’t had one of these threads in awhile. Since end of September in fact. So… if you’re a new reader who jumped on board these last few months (or a longtime reader who’s yet to comment), it would be very helpful (and greatly appreciated) if you let me know 1) how you discovered Twilight Lady and 2) what other comics (print and/or web) you read and enjoy.

    1) I came (earlier this month) through a banner in another webcomic, but don’t ask me which, because …
    2) I follow around 120~150 webcomics, too many to list here.

i came around 2 months ago through a link at the bottom of Rock Paper Cynic and i thought the episode that was on at that time was interesting so i went back to the beginning and now i check it everyday! i think i remember hearing about this comic like 5 years ago and decided to read it because it had the word killer in it…

    Hi,
I did discover Twilight Lady a month ago or so, and greatly enjoyed it.
I discovered it form a banner on another webcomic that I read, i think it was Penny & Aggie.
I also read Misfile, Ctrl-Alt-Del, Order of the Stick, Shadowgirls, Commissionned Comic, The Noob, xkcd, and many others ;)

  4. CHaoS

    1) I’ve found you out on Menage a 3, great webcomic btw.

    2) Questionable Content, Slightly Damned, Ctrl-Alt-Del, Order of the Stick, Least i Could Do, Looking for Group (Best web-comic ever. Sorry Blake, the Lady is not a match to Richard.. xD) and a few others…

PS: Congratulations on your work, really involving story and unique art.

Found you when looking at another comic, in an ad–might have been Girl Genius–anyway, that was several months ago. I’ve been following you ever since. I would love to be rich, I’d make a lot of web artists a lot richer too.

  6. Karyl

Oh, forgot to say–along with Girl Genius, I read Girls with Slingshots, Red String, Pibgorn and a whole lot of others at go comics and at comics.com, and Wapsi Square, Least I Could Do, Looking for Group, Xylia Tales, Dreamland Chronicles–on and on. If I go back to regular work someday soon I will be in withdrawal!

I found it several months ago, shortly after it began, I think. I clicked an ad on Shadowgirls. I also follow:

    Kevin and Kell
    Evil Inc.
    The Wotch
    El Goonish Shive
Goblins – Life Through Their Eyes
    Codename: Hunter
    Engine
    Misfile
and a few others I can’t recall off the top of my head.

Man, how does anyone find time to follow 100 or more comics? I envy you either your free time or your time management skills. Or both.

  12. bknabe

Man, I can’t believe I forgot one of my geeky favorites, General Protection Fault!

I found your comic after doing a search with the name of all of the other comics that I read. The first hit was the first time you asked these questions. I currently read OOTS, Goblins, Gods of Arkelaan, and Looking for Group. I was looking for something a little more modern and I found it here. I really love the development of the mythos behind the comic. It’s really interesting. Thank you.

  15. Joan of Acre

    Hi there,
I can’t remember now, but it was an add on one of the other comics I read. I think what caught my eye was the laughter, the “HA,HA,HA,” along with the pictures.
That made me stop and go back for a second look.
by the way your art work is really improving, your rendering skills and change in color pallet really makes the under world believable.

  16. Blake Chen

Thanks everyone! Your comments are always helpful to my efforts in spreading the word. (And yours too, I hope. ;) )

  17. Yannick Poirier

I joined in december – some add on some other website, don’t really remember which.

At first I wasn’t convinced about the style, but the story and characters have thoroughly drew me in. :)

  18. Unknowlingly Unknown

Found your comic through .topwebcomics.com and through ads from other comics. Everyday Decay, Zombie Hunters, Girl Guiness, The Noob, etc…

You have one of the most originally portrayed Comics I have read in many years.

  19. MalikTarrant

I discovered your comic from Questionable Content 3 days ago. Got caught up yesterday. This and QC are really the only webcomics I keep up with on a regular basis, although I occassionally read Sam&Fuzzy and I’ve read some of Girls with Slingshots.

  20. Daige

    1. Found this WONDERFUL comic through an ad while I was reading another comic. Could have been a comic I regularly read, or something random, since I tend to browse interesting comics every now and then. I really don’t remember where I saw the ad.

    2. The comics I read most regularly are:

    http://www.dominic-deegan.com
    http://www.dungeond.com
    http://www.egscomics.com (sadly, it seldom updates)

And now I follow this comic too! ;)

When it comes to printed comics, I have always been a fan of different Marvel Comics, but lately I have given up that part of my life. I still like Marvel, but they ruined Spider-Man… =/

  21. Aimless

Saw a banner while reading Sinfest ^_^ The uncommon style caught my eye and the story sucked me in. That was about four days ago now LOL When’s the next one?!

  22. Nate

Came through a banner a couple days ago, not sure from what webcomic.

    Also read:
Schlock Mercenary (best long term arcs)
    Sinfest (really good of late)
    Dilbert
    Order of the Stick
    xkcd
    Doonesbury
    Least I could Do
    Real Life
    Shortpacked!
    Exterminatus Now

Used to Read sometimes poke at:
Questionable Content (still waiting for my December order…)
    Girls with slingshots
    Evil Inc
    Chopping Block
    Last Blood
