Trollop works for me. I don’t understand something about this comic. Feel free to email any insights you’ve got: wynnifitz (AT) hotmail (DOT) com : Nobody seems to have any respect for ‘Cruel Mother’s’ physical world of existence, and yet they all prize the sap, yet animal spirits want to go back. Even Eleanor called it ‘a sentence’. Are they just that confused?
Wynnefredd: I keep saying, there has to be a meaning of life… not that the Lady listens… One of the major themes of this comic seems to be how limiting physical existence is. I guess that’s true enough. But there are things you can only experience when incarnated, lessons that can only be learned in the body. Other than suffering, I mean.
Then again, some people compare physical existence to boot camp. I guess that does inspire an attitude of disdain once you’ve passed through it.
The animal spirits are easy to answer, though. Note what the Lady said about them; they ARE confused. Just like a dead person who hasn’t accepted being dead yet.
Regarding the sap… if a man hunts an animal for its flesh, does this mean he wants to live as an animal in the animal world? Or that he has any respect for that animal’s existence necessarily?
Another point I’d like to make is… in this comic, which characters have actually shown disdain for the physical world? Let’s see… there’s the Lady and… um… er… who else? Well, maaaaybe Eleanor… but only because she once referred to it as a sentence. Other than that… ?
btw, Wynnefredd, I’ve taken the liberty of re-typing your e-mail. I would advise anyone against displaying their full, unedited e-mail address on this site (or any site for that matter). It’s an open invitation to the spammers out there who go around collecting addresses. They’re far worse than soul-snatching demon troll(op)s, believe me!

Well traditionaly the term for a female troll in folklore seems to be a trollwife. Don’t know if that helps.

Apologies, Mr. Chen. It’s just that one has to wonder exactly what you’re trying to say about life here.

Life?
Working on this comic keeps me from having one.

*blush* Thanks Blake, i appreciate it. Lessee: The Lady, Eleanor, and the willing folks she set ‘free,’ including Rona’s dad.
