    That WOULD be amusing…

The most interesting thing in this strip for me is the fact that the Lady feels responsible for Rona.

so this is an wierd twist. Rona is clearly not herself. She would never do anything like this 1) in the senseral realm, and 2) if she was in her right mind at all. But this does show that the Lady does care for Rona, which could mean that She believes that Rona can help in the future, also that She is becoming more human as she was regretting in the last few strips. I’ve noticed that she acts human in the SubRealm, and like a all powerfull spirit in the Senseral Realm. Which is the opposite of how she was if i’m not mistaken. So Blake, is the Lady loosing herself in the other girl( i forget her name)? And what is happening to her, Rona’s friend, aren’t the two Priest going to her, plus how long has she been asleep. Is there a wierd time warp thing like with the origanal digimon?

I agree with the ancient one. Rona is NOT herself- at least not as she is in the SenseRealm that we have see so far in this comic. She’s acting WAY out of character- so seeing the orbs must have some sort of drug-like effect that removes inhibitions when it strips away all the “layers”.
The Lady is clearly becoming more and more human-ish.
Is this due to Jen, as she has said (thought); or does it have something to do with her connection to Rona? I think the latter.
    MeOw!

like i said on the last strip, WTF???

well, maybe not. i know there are some types of drugs and parafanalia (sp?) which alter your state of mind, and increase your sex drive. if i remember correctly, one of the members of this group got into the astral plane by taking some form of drug.

so maybe meeting the orbs like they did affects humans in a similar way…

i don’t know, maybe, all i ever did was drink in high school. ..

Well… you could see it simply as her being able to see, for the moment, the basic love and commonality that underlies all human experience, unadulterated by the ideas and constructs that hem us in and prevent us from fully expressing our truest selves; as I said, it could be that the orblight lets you see what’s really important and what’s merely illusion. Or, it could be that it’s just made her giddy, inebriated, and uninhibited. Again, who knows. She’ll probably regret it later either way, unless the light has really worked a lasting change.
