   It’s not like anyone is “nice” in this strip. Like people, the characters live to their own ethics and take the consequences. It’s just like real life, but with more color in the backgrounds. By the way, folks, Mr. Chen isn’t “just” making this stuff up, no, no more than Lovecraft did. Some people are just more comfortable in the shadey side of the Tree.

   In many ways, the Lady’s attitude is as sensible as it is callous… what she forgets (or so it would seem) is that the universe brings people together for a reason. Perhaps that’s *why* we have the impulse to help those we come across.

   I love how harry is a completely different being(as far as looks) and unrecognizable here
