Taijitu???? does the Lady’s dress change with her mood? Does she feel at peace, one with the Cosmos? NO matter what the Troll does, the Lady remains centred. and the huntress becomes the hunturd.
I just started reading this webcomic and I’m enjoying it immensely. A beautiful job with the 3d graphics and the storyline is awesome. I can’t wait for more, besides, this comic almost fits with MY idea of the afterlife. I don’t like the idea of all spiritual beings being angels and demons like my cousins seem to think. Besides, ti get all metaphysical, are we sure our reality is what we deem it? Maybe we just aren’t aware enough to see these possibilities.
If you want to know what I basically mean… I’m a Rona waiting for the supernatural to happen, finding it cool but also living in this reality rather then wasting time pining for a reality I may never get to see or interact with.
The Twilight lady is very pretty in the last panel…. Also, she is doing alot better then I did against the temptation to go after an enemy…
I don’t think the Lady even considers Belahm an enemy. It’s one of those, she’s beneath my notice kind of things. You’d think Jen would have figured this out already, instead of being dreary. If I was her I’d be more interested in those clues the Lady was giving about her and her father.
Perhaps the taijitu symbol somehow shows her relationship with Belahm, how even though they oppose each other, they still need each other.
Dypak, you raise another question. Does the Lady have *any* enemies? or rather: does the Lady think of anybody as her enemy? I’m sure that there are those who see the Lady as their enemy!
This train of thought is giving me a headache! it leads to this question: Does God think that Satan is God’s enemy?
what’s giving me the headache is that I don’t believe in a single ‘Good’ entity or an opposing single ‘Evil’ entity. And I don’t believe in a single all knowing/powerful entity either…it’s easier for me to describe what I *don’t* believe
@ Fransisco: I recently learnt from wikipedia that the ‘yin yang’ symbol is actually called the Taijitu. Yin and Yang are the entities within the circle.
I started reading this comic approximately 3-4 days ago, and I must say, watching the transformation from slightly cartoon-like pages and people to more 3D pages and realistic people…. it almost defies AWESOME! I like the transition of it. What I do wonder… what kind of modeler do you use for the back-ground?
On a side note, I like the whole concept of rebirth or reincarnation you have going here. It’s really thought inducing. Could things like this really happen? I read entirely too many sci-fi books, and it’s throwing my perceptions majorly. I keep expecting aliens and vampires to come around corners, but then I’m sad when they don’t. Perhaps, deep down, everyone has a little Rona in them?

oh, the latest “Circle vs Square” (think Mad Mags Spy vs Spy) also has a Taijitu as the focus!

The pentagram is another symbol for the balance of nature; the symbols just reflect different ways of looking at it.
However, the Lady does seem unusually serene today. Perhaps the symbols change as a way of saying, in a nutshell, what she’s trying to get across.

It looks more like a classic yin and yang symbol to me (where both are circles).

Ps.
She’s showing fangs — should Rona be worried?

Thanks for the kind words and welcome aboard.
“what kind of modeler do you use for the back-ground?”
Poser.
“Could things like this really happen?”
Hehe… I’ll assume that was a rhetorical question, unless you tell me otherwise.
“I keep expecting aliens and vampires to come around corners, but then I’m sad when they don’t.”
Do you mean in real life, or are you saying there aren’t enough aliens and vampires in this comic?

“What trolls crave most is attention. I refuse to indulge her childish baiting.”
So you’ve met Terry Austin. huh?

In fact the whole part about trolls sounds like it’s talking about internet trolls. Well played.
