Something like that, anyway... that when talking about how death didn't cure some people of suicidal tendencies. She's also been able to kill people that I expect were already dead -- the incident with Jason comes to mind. It was implied in that sequence that her touch kicked them into a "lower form" when that happened. The only thing I can guess is that death, for such a being, means the loss of a level of consciousness -- not something anyone would appreciate, especially not the Lady, who seems to have spent aeons building her wisdom and awareness. I thought that this was odd because of her seeming disdain for human life, but after some thought, I readlized that I was being myopic! Survival to me is my existence in Senserealm (earth as I know it). The Lady *knows* that senserealm is only 1 step in my 'life'. I wonder how attached the Lady is to her current realm. Is there an after-life for her? If so, does she know of it? I'm reminded of 'The wee Free Men' who believe that their existence on earth is their Heaven...blue skies, beautiful earth, etc. is their reward for being good in a previous life.
