And here I thought the Lady did not enjoy fighting powerful beings in their own territories. Must mean the Huntress isn’t powerful…or else the Lady had an alternative motive for not fighting those dinosaurs. Or, perhaps, that the territorial strength isn’t as sufficient as it might be…

I think that the dinosaurs had a very strong will to survive/live. It seems taht the Lady generally leaves those types alone.

Well, with the dinosaurs, they were in Fang’s mind, not in the subrealm, thus Fang would be the ultimately strongest presence. This is subrealm, and The Lady is quite powerful here.

I think the Lady just enjoys messing with people, and the Huntress was a very convenient target. :)

I think the Lady just knows that she’s not going to be able to talk the Huntress down, so she might as well toy with her. The Lady does tend to be rather abrasive and antagonistic when people are already hostile… maybe she just wants to get the challenge over with?

I have to wonder what’s going on in that pale, immortal head of hers… she seems to have some issues.

“I have to wonder what’s going on in that pale, immortal head of hers…”

Seems like most folks here are starting to get a pretty good idea. :)

I liked yesterdays topic of who would play the Lady in a movie. I’d like to see Christina Ricci. She has a very morbid air that could be just right for the role. Forget the movies she played in as a child actress, except for maybe the Addams Family ones, she’s got alot going for her.

To tell the truth, I can see Twilight Lady being a TV series more than a movie. For the sole reason that if it was a movie, I’d have to leave a hell of a lot of stuff out. And there would still be a lot left that I’d have to cram into those 2-3 hours!

I don’t know anything about actors. But I can’t see anyone playing the Lady who wasn’t in her 40s or 50s. The Lady has such an air of … maturity… about her, one that’s almost impossible for a younger person to duplicate. (But at the same time, she doesn’t come across as old, so too old an actress wouldn’t fit either…)

Ooo, I’d vote for Michelle Pfeiffer to play the Lady. Ever see Stardust? Or White Oleader? She’s fabulous. :)

Haven’t seen those, but based on her performance as Catwoman, I would think she’d be pretty awesome.

Oh, I’d recommend Stardust regardless of Michelle Pfeiffer (who’s wonderful, but far from the only reason to see it). In fact, you might prefer to read Neil Gaiman’s story/book before watching the movie…

More and more i’m being reminded of Peter David’s “Fallen Angel”. She’a another one you don’t aske questions you don’t really want to know the answer to.
