I just looked Tim Buckley up on YouTube, WOW! Some really great sounds. This guy was way to hot for the American Top 40. I’d like to know the name of the song Jen is singing, I hope she’ll mention it.
I found it, Once I was a Soldier. Man, that one really killed me. You Tube has a sweet video of it, using photos from Iraq. I wish that they had mixed images from Viet-Nam in it. That was more Buckley’s era and would have made a great connection. I am definately curious now to see where this story line is going.
The song is “Once I Was”. It actually was used for the ending of a Vietnam war-related movie, “Coming Home”.
I saw that guy in the last panel, and for a split second he looked like Brad Pitt. O.o
