we know MC Vlad’s a Vamp, anyway and subtle hints tend to be lost on me. So I wouldn’t put money on it. but the stage name IS interesting
Well, if nothing else… she chose this name to represent her darker side. The side of her that makes her gothy and mystic, and that sings dire songs to a dark-mooded audience. And what do we know that side of her as? Fitting we would use this name.
You’d think Vlad would be a bit more careful asking for flaming applause in a place like the Catacomb. Clapping almost seems too tame. Makes her too much like Pheobe from Friends. I’d expect something more supernatural. At least someone should flick their Bic. She’d definately have Pheobe for breakfast.

the MC knows about Jen/the Lady, yet het calls Jen the ‘Twilight’ one…assuming that he gave her the stage name. I guess that he sees Jen as being the transient one,

I’d hate to see Pheobe in the Catacomb singing Smelly Cat, that would be just too weird.
I have to agree that the discussions are very entertaining ^_^
I am so laughing at the “Friends” reference. I actually liked the show during the original “Smelly Cat” era (before the music video). That was back before it became all soap-opera-ish.
“Friends” actually started out as a comedy… and morphed into a Yuppy night time soap-opera *le sigh*.
I’m glad to see that through all the twists and turns, BC has stayed true to the original story line and hasn’t turned this into a soap opera (as so many longer-running comics can do). If you look at “Twilight Lady” and compare it to any other comic with the same number of pages (not the same time frame- but the actual number of pages in the comic), this one has stayed more true to it’s roots than most *nod*
