I like this comic, the multiple layers of “reality”, the various creatures and factions and the “beyond good and evil” central character - personally, I think she’s some kind of anthropomorphic personification of entropy, with attitude.
Just a note on priest gear, though. While it’s OK for a priest (and I do assume he’s a Catholic priest, from what we’ve read so far) to run about in jeans and t-shirt when not on official business, the attire you’ve got him in now is not down with the rules…
- Fat pectoral (on the chest) crosses are worn by bishops and some abbots, but not by “simple” priests.
- The priest-about-town wears a shirt with a clerical or tab collar or a cassock, see the first photo (and just read the full entry, although it’s not really comprehensive) here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clerical_clothing
You’ve got your man in some kind of Crypto-Episcopalian liturgical outfit in a non-liturgical shade. Reddish-black is really cool, but just not Church.
The red is actually unintentional. It didn’t show up on my monitor initially, and I only noticed it later. Still trying to figure out how it got there…
Not quite the first day-time scene, but I suppose it’s the first day-time outdoor scene… unless you count the beginning of “The Disappeared”, which took place at dusk… or the ending of “Peace Time”, when dawn was breaking…
But thanks all the same, especially for being the first to compliment Rona on her new hairstyle!

Really great backgrounds in this scene, a very realistic effect.

Flabberghasted, hell. I for one admire your ability to keep up. I’m working on a novel; it’s a pain in the ass.

Wow - as far as I can remember, this is the first day-time scene to date, is it not?! It does look awesome, very realistic.
I like Rona’s hair on this page, also.
