I think that’s kind of silly. Even if they succeeded in eliminating all the things they would “fear” from the world…they would be the ones to fear. Plus, there are plenty of irrational fears. Most animals, for instance. A child can be afraid of a bug, but does that mean it will hurt the child? No, killing all of those bugs wouldn’t help–in fact, if taken to the wrong extent, it’d destroy the ecosystem.
I don’t think they’re very rational types prone to making logical decisions. They’re just trying to rationalize their evil actions by calling it something good, even if it makes no sense.
Great story line Blake! I just got the Hungry Ghost cd in the mail yesterday. I like it. It has a unique sound and great lyrics. Bravo!

Bigotry usually finds it’s roots in superstition and/or religion though.
