How did you find this comic?

April 28th, 2008

Around the end of each month, I plan to have a comment thread like this where you, dear reader, out of the kindness of your soul, can tell me 1) how you discovered Twilight Lady and 2) what other comics you read.

Partly to aid my promotional efforts. Mostly out of sheer curiosity and boredom.

So if you can, spare a few moments of your precious internet-browsing time to satisfy my rampant curiosity, will ya?

  18. Slaine Says:

Found you thrugh The Noob. And I read Darken as well.

  19. blakechen Says:

Thanks, everyone! You’ve all been a great help. That’s a helluva lot of comics listed up there. Many I recognize, some I don’t.

I wish I had the time to read more. But then, Twilight Lady would never get updated. :(

  20. ChrisC Says:

I followed a link from Real Life Comics

  22. Eric Says:

I followed a link from one of the webcomics I read semiregularly. I don’t know which one –it’s like that in the Subrealm… I know: pretty typical answer, so I don’t know whether it tells you much. Perhaps you should also ask why people follow that link. I followed it because it looked a little dark and the art looked like it might be decent; and it didn’t look stupid or overly pretentious. I’m real glad I checked it out. The storyline is jolly interesting and the characters are engaging ^_^.

    Other ‘toons I’ve been vidding:

    Girl genius

    Buck Godot

    Gunnerkrigg court

    Dresden Codak

    Zona

    Ask Dr Eldritch

    zeera the space pirate

    Pewfell (went downhill recently)

Wayfairer’s moon (that guy needs to practice his gestures or dialog something. His stuff seems so wooden)

    E

  23. crazyman Says:

I saw your ad on “The Zombie Hunters” (http://www.thezombiehunters.com), and finally gave in to my curiosity. I’m glad I did! Keep up the good work.

  24. Synamon Says:

I followed a link from The Challenges of Zona just yesterday. After reading your entire archive, I fell in love with your comic, and it now holds a prominent place in my comic bookmarks.

Other web comics I read are:

    The Challenges of Zona: http://www.barbarianprincess.com/
The Order of the Stick: http://www.giantitp.com/
    Goblins: http://goblinscomic.com/

    Insert Life Here: http://www.insertlifehere.net/
    GUcomics: http://gucomics.com/
    WTF: http://www.wtfcomics.com/

There are others that I used to read that have gone on extended hiatus so I won’t mention them.

My husband and I generally read the same web comics so I’ll be working on getting him to read this one too so that we can talk about it. When I find one I like, I usually keep on until I get him hooked on it too. He does the same thing to me. :)

  25. JackAce Says:
